The Church of the Ascension Welcomes You!
We are an Episcopal parish in the Diocese of Ohio, Cuyahoga Mission Area and are located on Cleveland’s Westside in Lakewood, Ohio.
We are a diverse population that provides outreach to the local community through our Community Meal program, partnership with Lakewood Christian Service Center, and other community service groups.
We have a rich tradition of music which enhances our liturgy while also enriching society’s need for non-secular musical performances during non-service times.
We also have a local chapter of The Brotherhood of St. Andrew that hosts an annual Ice Cream Social during the summer and a Pancake Supper on Shrove (a.k.a. Fat) Tuesday, welcoming all.
