The Ascension Fine Arts Committee works to provide free arts events for our congregation and neighborhood residents. We provide a minimum of 4 concerts for varying age groups and genres.
We have sponsored:

1. On the first Friday of December, the annual Coles Dusenbury Choral Festival, featuring area public school choirs.
2. The Singing Boys of Rockford Illinois, a wonderful boy choir.
3. The Ohio Boy Choir
4. The Lullaby Concert, a concert for children in pre-school to attend in their pajamas, featuring the Lakewood High School Chamber Orchestra, a story-teller and lullabies for singing.
5. The Baldwin-Wallace Alumni Brass Collective
6. Organ recitals featuring our wonderful organist – Linda Gardner
7. Choirs from traveling college Choirs

We look forward to sponsoring other arts events for the enjoyment of all who attend.

The events coming this year:

• Sunday, March 14, 3:00 pm - The Baldwin-Wallace Alumni Brass Collective
• Friday, March 26, 6:30 pm - Lullaby Concert – An orchestra concert for young children
• Friday, April 9, 6:30 pm Nursery Rhyme Concert – An organ & friends concert for School Children.

All concerts are free, with a free-will offering taken. There will be a reception following.
