Fr. George came to us from St. Timothy’s in Massillon (where the football comes from).  In his layperson life, he spent 30 years as a touring musician.  He graduated from the General Theological Seminary in New York, and in 2009 was ordained in the Diocese of Ohio.  He and his wife, Cristin, have two adult children who live in the Edgewater neighborhood. 

Fr. George grew up in Niagara Falls (Go Bills) and enjoys grilling, reading, and red pandas.  First and foremost he believes faith is rooted in community, and that the love of Jesus transforms lives through our relationships with each other. 

Within the wider Diocese, Fr. George served on the Bishop Search Committee, is a Deputy to the next General Convention, serves on the Standing Committee, and is secretary of the Liturgical Commission.
